What is the Ignition Program:

The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections; and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $10 for each session they engage with!

What’s in this session:

In this session on Emotional Intelligence and Adaptability, we will explore the key skills that are essential for thriving in both academic and professional environments. Students will learn how to recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions, as well as develop empathy and navigate the emotions of others—core aspects of Emotional Intelligence. Building on this foundation, the session will dive into the concepts of adaptability, empowering students with strategies to bounce back from setbacks and embrace change and stay mentally strong in the face of challenges. By the end of the session, participants will have a toolkit of practical techniques for improving emotional regulation, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and cultivating a growth mindset that allows them to remain flexible and effective in an ever-changing world.  Students will be equipped with the emotional agility needed to navigate stress, make better decisions under pressure, and build stronger, more supportive relationships. Whether you’re preparing for exams, managing group dynamics, or planning for your future career, this session is essential for those who want to build the resilience and adaptability that are key to personal and professional success.
