What is the Ignition Program:
The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $10 for each session they engage with!
What’s in this session:
Ashley Richard will share about her journey in entrepreneurship. Following in the footsteps of her grandmother, Mary Richard, Ashley's career encompasses both entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial initiatives. This session will be led in a storytelling format.
Speaker's Bio:
Ashley Richard is a proud Ojibway and Métis woman, of the Richard family from Pine Creek First Nation and the McLeod family from Camperville, Manitoba. She currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty 1 Territory. Ashley is the owner of her own consulting firm where she works alongside her husband in strategic planning and project management. She spends most of her time working on developing and leading the Indigenous Entrepreneurship portfolio at United College - University of Waterloo. Ashley is a proud cat mom to two Siamese cats, Taco and Armani.
