Prototyping Hackathon with NSCAD

About this placement:
Join the NSCAD and Eureka Technologies Hackathon with Experience Ventures! Take on an exciting challenge to design a user-friendly app interface for a smart mirror aimed at assisting seniors with essential daily tasks. This hackathon invites students to create an accessible, visually engaging app that could help seniors manage health reminders, daily schedules, and other vital information with ease. Focusing on innovative UX/UI design and practical, user-centered features, participants will develop interactive app concepts that could integrate with a smart mirror system—without the need for complex hardware. The Mission: create a functional prototype or detailed concept that demonstrates how technology can empower seniors to live independently, improving their quality of life through intuitive design.
Spaces are limited and each student who participates will receive an honorarium of $325.

Event start date: Nov. 30 | 2-4 p.m.

Presentations and feedback: Dec 7. | 2-4 p.m.
