What is the Ignition Program:

The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $10 for each session they engage with!

What’s in this session:

In this session, we’ll explore the fundamentals of commercial and business banking, highlighting the key differences between personal banking and banking for businesses.  You’ll gain insights into the wide range of products and services available to business clients, what they can expect as customers, and how banks work to meet their unique financial needs. Additionally, we’ll discuss the role of a commercial banker, what the career entails, and why it can be a rewarding path for those interested in finance and relationship management.  Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur looking to understand the banking side of your business or someone considering a career in banking, this session will provide valuable knowledge and practical takeaways to support your goals.
