Dr. Majid Taghavi

Majid Taghavi is an Associate Professor of Management Science at the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University. He has obtained degrees in applied mathematics, Industrial engineering, and Business Administration and has experience teaching courses in operations management, quantitative analysis, and information systems to both undergraduate and graduate students. His areas of expertise include Supply Chain and Operations Management as well as Healthcare Analytics. His background and knowledge enable him to help organizations to improve their decision-making process by using various techniques such as optimization, simulation, predictive and prescriptive analytics, etc., and leveraging large volumes of data.
