Shannon Susko BComm’89 BSc’92

Recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 and awarded the Sarah Kirke Award for Canada’s Leading Women Entrepreneurs in 2006, Shannon has built and led high-growth tech companies in the financial services industry. In six years, she co-founded, managed and sold two companies: Subserveo, Inc. and Paradata Systems Inc. She is also the author of The Metronome Effect, a deep appreciation for the importance of teamwork, a lesson she was able to take from the field while playing on three varsity sports teams during her time at Saint Mary’s University, into the boardroom.

Today, Shannon coaches organizations (see ShannonSusko.comto invest in their people to achieve results. And the same get-up-and-go that made Shannon successful in athletics has enabled her to be an effective serial entrepreneur.
