What is the Ignition Program:

The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections; and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $10 for each session they engage with!

What’s in this session:

In an increasingly crowded digital landscape, getting attention is only the first challenge. This session explores how human storytelling helps brands, businesses, and creators alike connect with audiences in meaningful ways across social media and digital platforms. Participants will learn how to think more strategically and intentionally about digital marketing by focusing on audience, message, and the role of authenticity in building trust and engagement.

What participants will get from the session
Participants will leave with a practical foundation in digital marketing and social media strategy, including how to define a goal, understand an audience, shape a clear message, and create content that is more likely to resonate. They will also gain a simple framework they can apply to personal brands, entrepreneurial ideas, side projects, or future professional work.

Why students should attend
This session is designed for people with a wide range of experience, whether they are new to digital marketing or already creating their own content online. It offers accessible, real-world guidance on how to stand out in the attention economy by making content feel more intentional, human, and effective.
