What to expect from an Experience Ventures Challenge:
Student teams will work with a community-focused organization to explore ways to improve wellbeing, connection and support within local communities.
This month, work with Nova Scotia Health Innovation Hub, a first-of-its-kind centre of excellence for health research and innovation in Atlantic Canada, leading health care thinking to deliver better solutions for patients and providers. Through strategic partnerships with patients and families, clinical champions, industry, health care foundations, governments and academic partners Nova Scotia Health Innovation Hub is working to transform health care through the best available evidence and well-researched solutions. .
During the Experience Ventures Challenge students will be tasked with developing a solution to support early detection, monitoring, and self-management of chronic disease in equity-deserving populations.
Participants will receive a $550 honorarium.
Event start date: Nov. 9, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Presentations and feedback: Dec. 7, 2026: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
