What is the Ignition Program:

The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $10 for each session they engage with!

What’s in this session:

We all have something we care deeply about — a story to tell, a skill to share, a cause that keeps us up at night. But how do you turn that spark into a sustainable business, social enterprise, or career? This interactive workshop, led by filmmaker and entrepreneur Andre Anderson, explores how to transform your passion into a purpose-driven and profitable journey.

Through personal stories, real-world examples, and practical exercises, students will learn how to identify their unique value, test ideas, and build something that matters — without losing their “why” in the process. Whether you're launching a side hustle, a creative brand, or a full-scale business, this session will leave you with a roadmap and renewed confidence to move forward.

Students should attend this session in order to gain an understanding on the hard work of starting a venture and an understanding of how to channel their energy into pursuits of monetization
