The AI Playground Workshop Series gives Saint Mary’s University students opportunities to explore artificial intelligence through free, hands-on sessions led by industry professionals and AI experts.
Students will learn how to use emerging AI tools, build practical projects, strengthen their digital skills, and explore how AI can support their studies, careers, and entrepreneurial ideas. No previous AI experience is required for most workshops.
Session Description:
In this hands-on workshop, students will be introduced to Nodiom, a developer tool created by Synexiom Labs. Meghraj will guide participants through using the tool to explore how developers can build more structured and trustworthy AI applications.
This session will include technical activities but will remain accessible to students with basic coding knowledge. Participants should be comfortable reading and running simple code. Students will need to bring a laptop with an integrated development environment installed, preferably Visual Studio Code
Speaker Bio:
Meghraj Solanki is the founder and CEO of Synexiom Labs, an AI research and product company based on Cape Breton Island. Synexiom Labs is developing a reasoning layer designed to make artificial intelligence more trustworthy. The company transforms its research into practical products, ranging from open-source developer tools to AI deployments for public-sector and financial organizations. It also holds a patent-pending architecture for calibrated AI reasoning.
Alongside his work with Synexiom Labs, Meghraj operates Willow Farm on Cape Breton Island with his family
