What is the Ignition Program:
The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections; and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $10 for each session they engage with!

In this session, we'll explore how confidence, authenticity and intentional communication can help you build meaningful connections and turn everyday moments into real opportunities. You'll leave with practical strategies to make a lasting impression and show up with purpose wherever you go.
Speaker's Bio:
Vaishali Sachdeva BA'26 is a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s University, where she studied Entrepreneurship alongside Psychology. Throughout her university journey, she has been deeply involved in extracurriculars, participating in over 40 pitch competitions and representing Canada on a global stage multiple times.
She is a TEDx performer and an emerging entrepreneur passionate about building purpose-driven ventures by bringing their stories to life. Her work focuses on turning ideas into action while creating meaningful, real-world impact.
Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, Vaishali is an artist and pageant titleholder, having been crowned the first Miss South Asian Gem Nova Scotia in 2023. She brings her energy and storytelling skills to every stage she steps on and made her television debut this year on Ocean Playground on Eastlink community TV. Believing that all the world’s a stage, Vaishali approaches every opportunity as a chance to connect, create and leave an impact
