Business of the month—The Wine Spa:
The Wine Spa was founded by Angela, a Dalhousie MBA graduate, certified sommelier, and mother of two young entrepreneurs, who dreamed of creating a space where friends can connect, celebrate, and get glamorous. Combining her love for wine with a passion for community, Angela envisioned a group-focused spa experience where every visit becomes a celebration of life’s best moments.
The concept emerged during Angela’s time at Peacock Wine Bar. Inspired by a coworker returning to cosmetology school, she imagined a vibrant, upbeat spa filled with laughter, beauty, and wine. Fourteen months of planning and dedication led to the opening of The Wine Spa on Hollis Street—a place where fine wine, delicious snacks, and luxurious spa services blend seamlessly to create a one-of-a-kind social spa experience.

At the end of the Sprint, businesses choose winning teams: first-place winners get $1,000, second place get $700, and third place get $300
