Irving Entrepreneurship Centre at our Open House Sept 17 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. for fun interactive activities, including building your own desk-top robot. win big prizes and learn more about how you can take advantage of programs, mentorship, funding and skill-building opportunities. From workshops and 1:1 support to AI tools, networking events and entrepreneurship resources, we’ll help you explore what’s possible and connect you with the right opportunities.
What to expect:
- Trade-Up Challenge: Start small, trade smart, win big. Begin with a custom keychain, made by alumni business owner Brayden White BComm'26 and trade your way up, item by item, person by person, until you land the most valuable object on campus.The student with the highest-value final trade will win 2 tickets to Magnetic World.
- Imagination Station: Come explore the features of our latest two Imagination Station products, the Smartduvet V2 with temperature controls and self-making capabilities along with the TDM. Neo Hybrid Headphones that transform from headphones to a Bluetooth speaker with just a twist. YES, you do have a chance of winning these products and taking them home at our next Imagination Station giveaway.
- AI Playground Escape Room: Step into the AI Playground Escape Room, a fast-paced, five-minute challenge where teamwork, creative thinking and smart prompting are the keys to escape. Search the space for hidden puzzle pieces, follow the clues, and use an AI assistant to solve the final mystery. Crack the code before time runs out to unlock the box and earn your place on the leaderboard!
- STEAM Lab Zone: Come build a mini 2D drawing robot you control from your phone, led by alumni entrepreneur Mohammed Issa Sign up at the Open house for a time slot and create a fun mini project that you can take home in just 10 minutes!
- Ice Cream Bar: At our kitchen table, relax and get a free scoop of Flynn's Dairy Bar ice cream from alumni business owner Arsh Shaikh!
