What is the Ignition Program:

The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections; and honorariums to support personal and business development. Students will be awarded $20 for each session they engage with!

What’s in this session:

Building a strong personal brand can help entrepreneurs stand out in a crowded marketplace. This topic covers personal branding strategies, online presence optimization and professional development techniques.

Speaker's Bio:

Tanvi is a recent graduate from Acadia University, holding a B.Sc. in Psychology and Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry and Biology. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she has held multiple student leadership roles during her time at Acadia including elected Vice President at the student's union, project lead for EDI project at town of Wolfville, research coordinator for a project for Veterans Affairs Canada, and many more.

Tanvi is an experienced researcher, who has worked in project management, and accessibility services and is currently working as a project coordinator at Skills Canada Nova Scotia. She is passionate about personal branding, professional development, and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. Fluent in English, French, and Hindi, Tanvi brings a global perspective to her work, making her a strong advocate for strategic communication and problem-solving. She was recently one of the crown holders in the Miss NS South Asia Gem Pageant. With a background in mental health, wellness, and community-building, she is dedicated to helping others thrive professionally and personally.
